{"id":1907,"date":"2023-12-08T16:13:56","date_gmt":"2023-12-08T07:13:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gwcenter.icrr.u-tokyo.ac.jp\/en\/?page_id=1907"},"modified":"2026-02-06T15:52:37","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T06:52:37","slug":"about-kagra-project","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/gwcenter.icrr.u-tokyo.ac.jp\/en\/about-kagra-project","title":{"rendered":"About KAGRA Project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About KAGRA Project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Deep under the mountain of the Kamioka mine in Kamioka-cho, Hida-city, Gifu-prefecture, there are many leading edge facilities to answer questions about many physics, astronomical and cosmological subjects that haven\u2019t been answered, such as \u201cSuper Kamiokande\u201d that is the successor of \u201cKamiokande\u201d, with which Pro.Koshiba won the Nobel Prize because of detection of supernova origin neutrino in 2002.
