KAGRA Sensitivity Curve

KAGRA official sensitivity limit

Estimated sensitivity limits of KAGRA are presented here. These curves are calculated from incoherent sum of the fundamental noise sources. Actual sensitivity to gravitational-wave signals may be degraded from these ideal calculation because of technical noise sources.

Two types of curves are described. One is an official curve, which has been officially approved by the project manager. Another is a latest best estimation, which includes strategic or technical updates of detector design.

Officially approved sensitivity limit curve is presented here.
